Introduction

Welcome to our online brochure for 2013!  I hope that you find reading it as stimulating as we did assembling it. We have widened the scope of our holidays dramatically with visits to Sicily, Berlin, Umbria,   and several corners of the British Isles.  Our tours in Spain feature a number of hitherto unexplored areas although I am pleased to say that we have also unearthed a couple of Old Classics. 

 Although the scope of our tours widen, some things remain stubbornly unchanged: the tours are all-inclusive (all travel, accommodation, meals with drinks, excursions and entrances are included), all are led by Chris Pollard, and all represent extraordinary value for money.  In addition, I am delighted to say that I shall be joined on several tours by ‘local pundits’, friends who are nationally respected experts in their field who will add enormously to our enjoyment of the holiday.

In the course of 2012 we introduced the concept of the House Party, groups of maximum eight based in one charming hotel.  This has been a great success and as you will see, the House Party figures regularly in 2013.  Naturally, some tours do not lend themselves to the House Party format: it all makes for a varied and exciting programme with immense freedom of choice.
